NLT Automation GmbH is one of the leading companies in the development and production of automation systems, special machines and components for slitting lines. The company was founded as NLT Norder Lagertechnik GmbH & Co. Maschinenbau KG within the Glave Group, a family business in North/East Frisia. The name change took place in June 2017.

The main technologies developed by the company are fully automatic handling systems for the metalworking industry, especially for cutting tools. The company develops fully automatic systems, so-called “robots,” for these tool groups. Above all, the self-developed fully automatic knife making robot for slitting lines with a total of 4 patents has made NLT Automation GmbH the market leader in this area. There are currently over 80 robots in use across Europe, 9 of them at our sister company Norder Band AG. In addition to the robot system as the main product, NLT Automation GmbH develops and sells automatic strip separating systems, packaging lines for slitting systems, rewinding and multi-winding systems. It also provides many services in the areas of automation systems, special machines and components for slitting lines.

All products are the direct result of the requirements of Norder Band AG, which is part of the Glave Group. NLT Automation offers you the highest quality and is currently certified according to DIN ISO EN 9001:2015, DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 and Iso 3834. Problem solutions are developed based on more than 30 years of practical experience. Highly qualified employees develop and design the appropriate solutions in close collaboration with customers.
